Pharrell ft. Snoop Dogg & Charlie Wilson - That Girl
If you notice in this video they use the new and trendsetting style of “Flash type” video editing and programming technology that is reminiscent of the recent HP Computer campaign called, “The Computer Is Personal Again”, which showcases Pharrell as one of their trendsetters; as well as Sean “Jay-Z” Carter and other notable figures. Also we are seeing how computer technology arts are influencing more creativity in film, television, graphics and linking the networks between internet communication devices and other visual arts.
David Roman, the VP of Marketing Communications, Personal Systems Group, spoke of this saying, “We are seeing great interest in the number of blog links and online buzz created by the first two ad spots.”

Recently artists Bow Wow and Chris Brown debuted their video for the single “Shorty Like Mine” showing us all how our modern culture is changing and moving towards new innovative inventions and how internet & mobile communications are becoming more personal than the home phone.
OK...the video was released on MTV on Monday, which was yesterday, it was shot in Miami where them VA boys like to roam [a couple of months ago]...if you don't have much time to watch TV here's an easy locator for you. The Clipse album will be released on November 28th, just in time for Thanksgiving, or at least in time to give thanks for good HipHop. Just wanted to get this out, but soon more news about The Clipse. Oh I know you've heard the controversy [controversy=good for publicity] over this beat...if not you missed it...Foxy will supposedly be on the remix.
LIVE INSTRUMENTAL HIPHOP...YOU CAN'T CALL IT ROCK? WELL JUST CALL IT MUSIC.
What am I talking about. Well the fact of HipHop and it's comparisons to Rock music. If you ask me it's always had it's connection. You really have to think back to artists like Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix who are some of the founding fathers of unique styles of rock music that are comparable to HipHop. Well I've been seeing the changes of HipHop music over the last year or two and I honestly think it's because HipHop has become more about the "hustle" and less about the music and craft of lyrics, but let's not forget the days when HipHop was associated with gangsta rap. But some of HipHop is keeping it constant and breaking it back into pro-action. Some of my picks will span over the course of weeks like some other topics and include other topics and news related to the artists. Let's start with...
THE ROOTS
Now this image brings back memories because my grandmother had a replica of this painting in her basement, it's a classic. I had to show the comparison between the photographer's artistic imagery of The Roots band members and this famous painting by C.M. Coolidge called "Dogs Playing Poker" and it's reference to the lucky dogs. The Roots may be lucky but they are talented as well, and with the new CD "Game Theory" [they've been in the running for some time] they are, theoretically speaking, running numbers on the game with always ever-changing and progressive sound .
Let me tell you a lil’ story now here it goes…
In my fresh and so clean highschool years, not long ago. My most memorable music performance flashback was a legendary night out with older cousins who were chaperones for the evening even though they were the seniors and I was a freshman in highschool. The band was coming and had arrived their first concert in Atlanta, Georgia. [I’ll find my pics and repost later, I still have them!]. The room was filled with smoke and the sound was vibrant, yes a vibrant sound that allowed the imagination to run free, while the beat vibrated through the entire building and the music turned into notes that floated above. ♪♫♪
As the lead lyricist recited on the mic the words flowed like their own beat, non-stop and in gear, at this point I experienced a second coming of HipHop. I knew what it was, but was developing my own sense of it. I was inspired once again to reflect to a time in my kiddie days of Queens, New York from the sounds of a time line of revolving HipHop music Kurtis Blow, JJ Fad, LL Cool J, Easy E, Tribe Called Quest, WuTang Clan, Warren G & Nate Dog, The Roots, Pharcyde, Outkast & Goodie Mob. OK I skipped a lot in between but you get the point. That's what music does to me.
This subjects HipHop-Rock and Hot Stuff, My Favs will be periodical so CHECK ON IT!
As a prelude to the subject HIPHOP-ROCK: N.E.R.D. / PHARRELL is the news about Pharrell Williams re-releasing his album "In My Mind" with the help of Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson . ?uestlove is reportedly heading the live instrumental re-release project with the band Illadelphonics, they put a little something on the net for us to chew on. Here is a video of ?uestlove and another band member rehearsing the music for the song "Number 1"
Also look forward to exclusive never before seen and breaking news interviews from our generation of entertainment industry personalities.
OK...They're kicking off another season of this show "America's Got Talent". Wanna know why it's so great? One reason you can win $1,000,000. Don't you agree. Come on that's the whole reason the show is being produced right, to make money, not really to show America's got talent because most of the time you end up watching about 75% of non-talented people who make you laugh, when they should come out and tell you what they really want from the beginning. They want you to have the whole package: the look, the moves, the voice, the talent, but instead they make people go through show after show to tell them they don't have talent, it's like making it all the way to the airport to take off and finding that you've forgotten your ticket on the dresser at home. Anyway I've got the tour info if you want to audition, mark it on your calendar, and make sure you have talent, or at least practice your talent routine. LOL.

Hi People...Last week I auditioned for the Game's video girl competition. When I went I didn't really know what I was there for. I thought I was going for an audition to do something like hosting for some type of television event or film project, but I ended up doing a video audition. I've done about a total of 12 music video auditions and been in about 3 over the past 4 years. I enjoy dancing and acting and it is an opportunity to stay busy, so that's why I do it. When you watch the video you will clearly see I have natural talent that has developed since the age of 3 when I first set foot at dancing academies. By the way after viewing me please go to my page by clicking the link below and vote for me...so I can win. If you'd like check out the others the videos serve as an interesting type of entertainment...some are very funny, some are raunchy. Remember just vote for me because if you vote for the others the votes count against me. Thanks for your support!
I have had the urge to dress up for Halloween, go out and get wild. I don't think I ever did Halloween too much well maybe a couple of years ago I was a sparkly sexy butterfly..and then the year after a sexy pirate...but I didn't get to fully enjoy it. There never seem to be any real good parties either. They're either too crowded or too small and boring. I guess. Well what are you doing for Halloween? I think I may post some party info before party time.
What are you going to be? Remember no matter what, be yourself. LOL
